There are Shuttle Buses running to and from Mannheim, but it must be noted that it can take over 2 hours and the bus times can be restrictive.

Stuttgart Airport (STR) is located 13 km south of Stuttgart city centre and just over an hour from Mannheim. There are regular trains to Mannheim from Stuttgart main station.
